The five most followed young youtubers in Costa Rica were honored at the YAS Awards Y9 2019. Huawei organized this event to highlight the youtubers’ fresh and quality content.
The winners were Vale Merino, DJ Disto, Krizz Solano, Fabii Puffle and Germán Rodezel. These each have over 100,000 subscribers to their YouTube channels.
Germán Rodezel creates audio-visual content and has 580,000 followers. He won the category RockStar of the Year. Vale Merino uses her channel to promote art through urban dance. She is the Y Dancer of the Year. Krizz Solano took the Y Hit of the Year award. She promotes self-love. She played a joke in a mall posing as Justin Bieber. 714,000 fans follow Fabii Puffle’s makeup tutorials. She won the Y Cute of the Year award. DJ Disto rounds out the list taking DJ of the Year.
The award ceremony was held at Neon Ice in Barrio Escalante in the beginning of this month. The winners received trophies, Huawei Y9 phones, Huawei 360 cameras, and cash to enhance their digital platforms.
