Costa Rica News – Six ticas are going to represent Costa Rica in the international forum of women, girls and science.
They will interact with diplomats, scientists and corporate executives on February 8th and 9th.
Darlyn Vargas, Mariela Muñoz, Dana Mesén, Stephanie Aguilar, María José Solís and Gilda Jarquín are special guests at this year’s edition of the event, which is to be held at the United Nations. They were chosen due to their performance in robotics.
Solís and Jarquín will give a speech in the opening of the forum. They have quite a passion for Science and Technology. They will be the voice of women and girls on issues about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art-Design and Mathematics).
The theme of the event is “Equality and parity in science for peace and development.” It’s organized by the Royal Academy of Science International Trust, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the Government of Malta.
