Costa Rica News – The holiday schedule is important to keep in mind to avoid traveling to an office for absolutely nothing. In general, you can count on the fact that everything will be closed on the 25th and the 1st.
If you need to make transactions involving pension or disability insurance, paying a bill, applying for a visa, getting your car inspected, etc. it can be made especially difficult if you don’t check the holiday hours for the related office or service.
Here is a list of some important calendar changes:
CCSS will be open 7-4 but closed on the 25th and 1st. Additionally the San Jose headquarters will close on the 24th.
INS will be closed from the 24th through the 3rd.
The US Embassy will close at 1 on the 24th and 31st and be closed on the 25th and 1st.
Riteve stations will close on the 25th, 1st and 2nd. They will attend to drivers on the 31st until noon.
Marchamo payments can be made from 8-4 from the 28th to 30th.
The Registry where you apply for an ID will extend its hours from 7-5 for the first week of the year.
CONAVI, MEP and Immigration are closed from the 18th through the 3rd.
