Costa Rica Travel News – Many people on a Costa Rica vacation face a similar problem: if they are a group of 4 people they have at least 3 different ideas of what activities should be included in the trip itinerary. There is a combo tour in which each person can choose which activities to do and which to skip.
Vandara Hot Springs and Spa is near the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. This private property offers an indulgent day of relaxing at the spa as well as experiencing a variety of adventures. You can relax in the thermal waters, horseback ride, zip line, try a water slide adventure, and/or tour an organic farm. It is one of the only places that offers everything in one scenic location.
The flora and fauna are beautiful and include a dry forest and the Tizate River. There are 5 pools that are naturally heated by the volcano and a Jacuzzi. If you go for a massage or spa treatment you will do so in an open-air massage parlor. The fresh air brings something new to the peaceful experience.
Most of the food offered at the onsite Ojoche Restaurant is grown on their own ranch. The bar offers a variety of drinks that you can enjoy in the thermal pools.
At the organic farm you’ll see pineapples, radishes, tomatoes, and mangoes. In the forest keep your eyes open for anteaters and armadillos. At the top of the forest you can try a 400 meter waterslide or the Tarzan Swing.
Make sure to bring a bathing suit and change of clothes, comfortable shoes, a camera, and sunscreen. The tour includes a welcome cocktail, aromatic towel, horse or tractor ride, canopy tour, water slide adventure, hot springs, volcanic mud bath, farm tour, a meal, fresh fruit, a glass of wine, and 3 beers or sodas. Children must be at least 4 years old.
There is the opportunity to try many of the diverse things Costa Rica has to offer.
