Costa Rica News – The University of Costa Rica, UCR, has decided to suspend what would have been the third day of the admission exam.
It was scheduled for Saturday, September 22, in 68 places across the country.
The suspension is due to complications from the national strike and difficulty in transit of both students and those monitoring the test. The test is very important for thousands of students and their families.
Those in charge are considering the safety of students. They don’t want to expose them to any risky conditions. The blockages in several areas could mean the tests or students can’t arrive and the strike could create changes in the educational centers with a shortage of personnel.
The test was to be applied to about 17,000 students from schools nationwide. A reschedule date will be announced shortly. As of now, the fourth date, September 23 has not been cancelled.
