Costa Rica Travel News – Are you looking to escape that last bit of winter in the USA? Do the beaches and volcanoes of Costa Rica seems like a good weekend getaway? United Airlines is making it a bit quicker ans easier to get to the land of “Pura Vida”.
This past Monday, United Airlines announced an increased frequency of nonstop flights between Costa Rica and their hubs in both Chicago and Washington-Dulles. According to the official statement released, from now until March 31st they will add 2 extra flights on Saturdays and Sundays.
For Flights to Washington, they will be increased by three weekly flights, on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This change will also happen from now until March 31st. After that time, the schedules for both routes will go back to normal.
Then from June 5th-August 18th, the airline will reprise the added frequencies. The additions of flights make the airline strategic to attract clientele from the US, Europe, and Asia.
The manager said, “It contributes to the momentum and dynamism of the export and industrial sector. A strong demand from domestic and foreign airline passengers made us decide to increase the number of flights.”
