Costa Rica News – I’m super excited because it’s going to snow in Costa Rica, well, sort of.
On November 21st Costa Rica’s City Mall will open a Snow Fun Park. This family entertainment option will be open for 70 days this holiday season.
The schedule is from 1-9 pm and price/packet options range from ¢4,500 to ¢20,000.
Total Snow Productions developed the concept that includes a snow tubing ramp that is 42 meters long and 10 meters high, an area for snowball flights and a playground where you can make snowmen.
The franchise is new to the country but has had success elsewhere, such as Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico.
I’ve met a lot of people here in Costa Rica who have never seen snow and after this year there’s no excuse.
This new mall is located in Alajuela and will officially open on November 11th.
The shopping center will generate 3,500 direct and 4,000 indirect jobs between November and early 2016.
