Costa Rica Entertainment – Thirty Seconds to Mars, the Anglo rock band, is here in Costa Rica. They will perform on Sunday the 5th at 8pm at the Palacio de los Deportes, which is in Heredia. This band is in the height of their career and has become well positioned in the world of rock.
The band started in 1998. They battled legally with the record label Virgin Records for 5 years and they are now finally out of the contract and onto better things. “We are trying to find ways to share our music with the world in new and exciting ways that do not force us to sign some complicated recording contract that is designed to keep us in terminal debt for centuries,” explained Jared Leto, singer and guitarist.
They are now on their Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams Tour to promote their fourth album.
The tour started in mid-2013 and will end in late November in South Africa. This is their Costa Rican debut.
The concert was originally announced late last year and was to be in May.
The band had to change the schedule in April, pushing it back five months. Tickets can be bought from eTicket.cr or by calling 2295-9400. They range from ¢39,000-56,000.
