Costa Rica News – Ivonne Acuña’s, of the National Restoration Party, lawyer filed her lawsuit for ¢40 million against CCSS dentist Rodolfo Gamboa, in the Criminal Trial Court of the First Judicial Circuit of San José.
Gamboa, head of the Maxillofacial Service of the San Juan de Dios Hospital, insulted her on Facebook and it went viral and affected her reputation.
Her young children saw the inappropriate remarks mocking her physical appearance.
He emailed Acuña asking to meet privately about the issue but she refused. Her lawyer advised against it and she is uncomfortable meeting him muchless in private as he suggested.
Acuña explains that this is a type of violence and many people have thanked her for taking a stand against it.
She is asking for precautionary measures so he can not communicate with her.
