Costa Rica Events – From February 23 to 26, the seventh edition of the Envision Festival will take place in Costa Rica, a country known as a pioneer in sustainability. In an eco-village near the city of Uvita right in the heart of the jungle where the mountains meet the Pacific, an eclectic lineup of about fifty artists will perform for upwards of 7,000 festival-goers.
It’s a community experience that blends outdoor concerts, art and dance, with workshops promoting eco-friendly practices. There are also spiritual experiences to be had with classes on yoga, meditation and natural medicines.
It’s the perfect place to explore your deep connection with nature between sunsets, swimming and nature walks. You can stay in your own tent, or in bungalows or cabins perched up high.
Awakening our human potential
In this dreamy environment filled with dolphins, monkeys and sea turtles, Envision has one idea in mind:
“As a celebration dedicated to awakening our human potential, Envision provides a platform for different cultures to co-exist in sustainable community, and inspire one another through art, spirituality, yoga, music, dance, performance, education, sustainability and our fundamental connection with nature.”
In fact, you can do almost any activity imaginable at the festival: yoga retreats, surfing, diving, parachuting, hiking in the jungle, seeing artistic performances, dance and martial arts. And you can educate yourself about green ways of living like permaculture and eco-construction. Near the camp, there’s even a healing sanctuary that serves plant-based drinks made by “village witches.”
In short, Envision is a great place to engage with other cultures and meet inspired and inspiring people, to dance, celebrate, play, love, learn, create and learn from one another.
