Costa Rica Entertainment – Love is the theme of many a theater production. It’s a human feeling that demands and attracts so much attention.
In “The Elixir of Love” there is a line that says “I want to feel your heartbeat for an instant! My sighs are confused with yours.”
This poetic presentation will be presented from July 26th to August 7th.
The work was premiered in 1832 in Milan and has been appreciated for its charm and beautiful music ever since.
The traditional tale has been modernized a bit. This version is believable as taking place in 2015. The actors chosen were spectacular from the start and have been learning and growing as professionals at each step of the show’s preparation.
They are so genuine in their portrayal of the characters.
Ivette Ortiz, a soprano singer, explained that singing opera at these levels is like being an athlete, training day in and day out for the marathon, which is the live show.
