San Jose, Costa Rica – The Technological Institute of Costa Rica (TEC) today released hundreds of butterflies at its headquarters in Cartago.
The activity takes place in the framework of the celebration of Environment Day (June 4) and the week devoted to their protection.
Today’s event will begin at 8 am and will be attended by children who make up the Children’s Workshop TEC.
Tomorrow, students and staff, drawn garbage is thrown into the river that borders the campus of that school.
At the same time, another group will plant 1,000 trees in this area, advised by teachers of the race of Forestry.
The rest of the week will give lectures on the care that must be given to the environment.
