There are going to small sets rolling on the Pacific side & the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Small SSW swell and NW swell blend is mostly knee-thigh high with some waist high+ sets/peaks at standouts Friday. Weak and inconsistent overall with the more tucked away/sheltered spots staying under knee high.
WEATHER/WIND: Mainly light/variable side-onshore (southerly) flow Thursday and early Friday with stronger SSW winds kicking in Friday PM. Confidence stays low beyond that with TS Otto in the region. Rain/thunderstorms are likely so keep in mind that passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions. Keep an eye on the Hi Res Winds.
Friday 11/25 – 2-3ft – knee to waist high – Small, new SSW swell. NW traces. Winds/conditions suspect.
Saturday 11/26 – 3-4ft+ waist to shoulder high occ. 5ft – SSW swell trends up. Winds/conditions suspect

Moderate mid period swell from the north-northeast falling later in the next few days. Breezy west winds, whitecapping conditions with moderate choppy seas, winds dropping rapidly later. Small mid period swell from the east-northeast falling slightly during the early part of next week. Light west winds with a slight chop.
Friday 11/25 – 3-4ft – Knee to shoulder – Small short period wind waves from the northeast holding during the day. Light west winds all day and switching to the northwest.
