There are going to be some fun sets rolling on the Pacific side & and smaller sets on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Mix of overlapping SW to SSW swells with head high waves at many breaks with decent exposure. Good spots are up to a couple feet overhead and standouts are even a bit better (especially on Fri as swell directions trends more SSW). s.
WEATHER/WIND: Generally light/variable wind in the mornings (locally weak offshore), with a light to moderate southerly sea breeze developing by the later morning and holding for the afternoon. Thunderstorms possible in the afternoon/evening hours.
Friday 05/05 – 5-7ft – head high to 2 ft overhead – SW/SSW swell continues.
Saturday 05/06 – 4-7ft – shoulder high to 2 ft overhead – Reinforcing SSW swell moves in.
