Costa Rica Surfing – (Surf Report July 14th & July 15th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have Costa Rica surf pics. There are going to be some overhead sets rolling on the Pacific side & smaller sets on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: The old SSW swell drops a touch from past days, but generally holds in size through the end of the week. Most breaks with decent exposure see shoulder to overhead waves, while the typical standouts still go a couple feet overhead on sets.
WEATHER/WIND: Variable to light offshore flow early each day trends onshore through the mornings and gives way to a light+/moderate sea-breeze each afternoon. Winds ease in the evenings. Keep in mind, passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 07/14 – 4-7ft – shoulder high to 2 ft overhead – Continued SSW swell. Best winds/conditions in AM hours.
Saturday 07/15 – 4-7ft – shoulder high to 2 ft overhead – Old SSW swell lingers, as new/long period S swell forerunners show.
