There are going to smaller sets rolling on the Pacific side & the Caribbean side of Costa Rica is going have fun sets with occasional overhead sets rolling in. FRIDAY: Largest in the morning. Friday is smaller with waist-chest high surf and occasional shoulder-head high sets at top spots.
WEATHER/WIND: Diurnal winds prevail through Thursday with light offshore AM winds. Afternoon sea breezes follows each afternoon.
Friday 12/23 – 3-4ft – waist to chest high occ. 5ft – Dropping SSW swell.
Saturday 12/14 – 2-3ft+ Knee to chest high – Lingering SSW swell.

Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast falling later in the next few days. Light and variable west-southwest winds, Increasing later and switching to the west-northwest. Small mid period swell from the east-northeast rising slightly later in the early part of next week. Light and variable west-southwest winds and switching to the north-northwest.
