Costa Rica News – (Surf Report December 16th & 17th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have Costa Rica surf pics. There are going to smaller sets rolling on the Pacific side & the Caribbean side of Costa Rica is going have fun sets with occasional overhead sets rolling in. FRIDAY: Size for better breaks is in the ankle-knee-waist high range, with a few waist+ waves for the best small wave focal points around the proper tides.
WEATHER/WIND: A diurnal pattern is in place through the next few days – light/variable to light offshore winds in the mornings, before a light/moderate sea breeze develops in the afternoons.
Friday 12/16 – 2-3ft – knee to waist high – Small SSW swell.
Saturday 12/17 – 2-3ft – knee to waist high – Small SSW swell.
