Costa Rica Surfing – (Surf Report August 25th & August 26th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have Costa Rica surf pics. There are going to be a nice swell building on the Pacific side & smaller sets on Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: A fresh, solid SSW swell (205-190) begins to build in on Friday. Surf starts in the waist-shoulder high range at breaks with decent exposure, building through the day. Focal points likely see a few sets around head high early that will also trend up through the day.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable winds early, trending onshore through the mornings. Light+ onshore flow each afternoon. Note – local thunderstorms are possible and will temporarily affect wind.
Friday 08/25 – 3-4ft+ – waist to shoulder high occ. 5ft – New, solid SSW-SW swell builds in all day. Larger sets late.
Saturday 08/26 – 4-7ft – shoulder high to 2 ft overhead – More long period SSW swell builds.
