Costa Rica Surfing – (Surf Report April 21st & 22nd) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have Costa Rica surf pics. There are going to be some fun sets rolling on the Pacific side & and smaller sets on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: New SW swell builds through the day to provide shoulder-head high+ surf at many breaks, while good spots are up to a couple feet overhead (especially in the afternoon).
WEATHER/WIND: Generally light/variable wind in the mornings (locally weak offshore), with a light to moderate southerly sea breeze developing by the later morning and holding for the afternoon. Thunderstorms possible in the afternoon/evening hours.
Friday 04/21 – 4-6ft – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead occ. 7ft – Long period new SW swell builds further and peaks later in the day – larger sets for focal points, especially in the PM.
Saturday 04/22 – 4-6ft – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead occ. 7ft – SW swell continues with better sets at best breaks.
