FRIDAY: SSW groundswell fades while new SSW groundswell slowly builds and larger overhead surf will settle in for the weekend.
WEATHER/WIND: Mostly light to moderate offshore winds for Thursday/Friday. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 06/21 – 1.2-1.8m – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead occ. 2.4m – Mix of old SSW swell and longer period SSW groundswell with some possible larger sets.
Saturday 06/22– 1.2-2.1m – shoulder high to 2 ft overhead occ. 2.4m – SSW groundswell holds during the morning.
Caribbean Costa Rica Forecast
Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast falling slightly during the next few days. Light and variable north winds, Increasing later and switching to the east-northeast. Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light and variable east-northeast winds with smooth seas, increasing rapidly later.
