North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast
FRIDAY: S-SSW swell peaks for more head high plus to easily overhead waves at exposures, as top breaks see larger sets.
WEATHER/WIND: Look for light+ to moderate offshore NE-ENE wind in the mornings, with a light/moderate seabreeze gradually developing each afternoon. The wind for northernmost CR will stay offshore all day. Most areas will see partly cloudy/sunny skies. NOTE -Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind/road conditions.
Easing but still healthy SSW Southern Hemi swell kept lots of well exposed spots in Costa Rica in head high to several feet+ overhead zone waves on Wednesday, as standouts saw larger sets. Southern Hemi swell peaks later this week.
Friday 04/19 – 1.5,-2.4m – head high to 3 ft overhead – S-SSW swell peaks with better sets at top breaks
Saturday 04/20 – 1.2-1.8m – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead occ. 2.1m – Easing S-SSW swell

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the next few days. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling slightly during the early part of next week. Light east winds with a slight chop later.
