Costa Rica News – (Surf Report August 5th & 6th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our beautiful pictures of girls in bikinis. If you are in the mood for fun waves this is a weekend for you, there are going to be some decent size with occasional overhead waves coming in on the Pacific side and smaller waves rolling in on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Nice pulse of SW swell tops out through the day. Good breaks are running shoulder-head high+ with sets up to 1-2′ overhead for focal points. Variable SE flow early picks up through the morning, so some Southerly wind blockage likely a good call.
WEATHER/WIND: Light+ SE/S flow early will trend up through the morning Thursday, becoming light+ to moderate onshore from the S/SW for most areas in the afternoon. ESE/SE flow is lighter early Friday, before trending onshore through the morning. A sea-breeze prevails in the afternoon, but winds may ease for a cleanup in the evening.
Friday 08/05 – 4-6ft – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead occ. 7ft – SW swell peaks with overhead sets at the better spots. Sideshore SE/S morning wind for parts of the coast.
Saturday 08/06 – 4-6ft – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead – Easing SW swell.
