Expect some head high sets rolling in on the Pacific side and small sets the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: SW-SSW swell provides mainly waist-chest high waves along with some shoulder/head high peaks at standouts. Small shorter period/localized southerly wind swell mixes in.
WEATHER/WIND: Calm to light offshore wind early, trending onshore through the mid mornings (depending on location), before a moderate onshore sea-breeze gradually develops through the late morning into each afternoon (a little stronger for some areas, lighter for others).
Friday 09/25 – 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high – S/SSW swell holds.
Saturday 09/26 – 0.9-1.2m+ waist to shoulder high – Fading SW/SSW swell.
