Costa Rica News – (Surf Report October 18th and October 19th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and add in some pictures of beautiful surf girls in bikinis. This weekend is pumping on the Pacific side of Coast Rica but the Caribbean side of Costa Rica is a bit small this weekend, but as always there are some waves to always be caught. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Slow rise in SSW swell (partially shadowed by the Galapagos) for waist-shoulder-head high waves and plus sets, showing strongest late.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable wind in the early mornings, with an onshore SW-WSW seabreeze gradually developing over the mid to late morning hours and becoming moderate into the afternoons. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 10/18 -0.9-1.2m+ – waist to shoulder high occ. 1.5m – BIGGEST LATE with larger sets; New SSW swell continues to build in and take over, peaking late in the day with plus sets
Saturday 10/19– 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high – SSW swell continues

Very Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast rising slightly later in the early part of next week. Light and variable south winds, Increasing later and switching to the east-northeast.
Friday 10/18 – 0.3-0.6m – Ankle to knee – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable southwest winds all day and switching to the east-northeast.
Saturday 10/19– 0.3-0.6m – Ankle to knee – Very Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west-southwest winds all day and switching to the northeast.
