Costa Rica News – (Surf Report November 30th and December 1st) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and add in some pictures of beautiful surf girls in bikinis. This holiday weekend is pumping on both the Pacific side and Caribbean side and there are some big waves to be caught on both coasts of Costa Rica. North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Fresh SW-SSW (205-185 deg) swell will builds through the afternoon evening on Thursday and then tops out Friday morning. The better exposed breaks of the region see waist-chest-shoulder high zone waves as that swell tops out, while some of the standout spots produce occasional slightly overhead sets (strongest during that spot’s more favorable tides). Slowly easing surf takes over by Saturday into the weekend. Small new NW swell joins in for well exposed breaks over the weekend as well
WEATHER/WIND: For most areas, expect calm to light/variable to locally light offshore wind in the early mornings, with an onshore SW-WSW seabreeze gradually developing over the mid to late morning hours and becoming moderate into the afternoons. Skies will be partly cloudy/sunny for most locations as well. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 11/30 – 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high – New SSW swell fills in further and tops out; Occasional overhead waves/peaks for select magnets
Saturday 12/01– 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high – Holding SSW swell; Occasional overhead waves/peaks for select magnets

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast rising later in the next few days. Light north-northwest winds until Saturday and switching to the north-northeast. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling slightly during the early part of next week. Light and variable northwest winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the north.
Friday 11/30 – 1.2-1.5m – Shoulder to head – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable north-northwest winds, Increasing later and switching to the north-northeast.
Saturday 12/01– 1.5-1.8m – Head high to 0.3m overhead – Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west-northwest winds all day and switching to the north.
