Costa Rica News – (Surf Report May 15th to May 16th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our beautiful pictures of girls in bikinis. For all those big wave surfers this weekend is for you on both coasts of Costa Rica. This weekend expect overhead waves on both the Pacific and Caribbean sides of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.

FRIDAY: Holding to slow easing SSW swell continues to set up overhead to double overhead surf at exposures and larger sets for top breaks.
WEATHER/WIND: Most areas will see a typical diurnal wind pattern through much of the week; light/variable to locally light-moderate offshore wind for the early to mid mornings (depending on the specific spot), before a moderate onshore sea-breeze gradually develops over the late morning hours and into each afternoon. Good chance for the wind to back off into the evenings for a glass-off for many locations before dark, especially the more sheltered/tucked away spots.
Friday 05/15 – 2.4-3.1m – 0.9 m overhead to double overhead occ. 3.7m – SSW swell holds to slowly eases.
Saturday 05/16 – 1.8-2.4m+ Head high + to 0.9 m overhead – SSW swell winds down, largest early.

Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light and variable south-southwest winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the east-northeast.
