Costa Rica News – (Surf Report March 20th and March 21st) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our beautiful pictures of girls in bikinis. Who is ready for some overhead big wave surfing this weekend? This weekend have some double overhead waves rolling in on the Pacific side & but the Caribbean side of Costa Rica will be a bit small this weekend. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Long period SW swell (225-200) builds further and peaks with overhead to double overhead surf at exposed breaks (6-10′ faces). Standout breaks go double overhead+ around the most favorable tides (12’+ faces), with some larger sets possible late in the day. Note – Some of the exposed beachbreaks are maxed-out at times. Shape favors reefs/points.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable wind early trends onshore in the mornings for most areas. A light+ to moderate onshore SW-W sea-breeze develops into each afternoon. Most of the region will see partly cloudy/sunny skies each day. However, there is still a chance for occasional passing thunderstorms/showers.
Friday 03/27 – 1.8-3.1m+ head high + to double overhead occ. 3.7m – Solid SW swell tops out. Light/variable winds early.
Saturday 03/28 – 1.8-3.1m+ head high + to double overhead – Solid SW swell holds steady. Light/variable winds early.
