North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Expect surf to hang mainly within the waist-head high zone at the better exposures through the next couple days. SW magnets will produce occasional slightly overhead sets Thursday afternoon and Friday, which will be most prominent during the more favorable tides.

Look for calm to very light/variable to locally light offshore wind for the early to mid mornings (depending on the specific spot), before a moderate onshore seabreeze gradually develops over the late morning hours and into each afternoon. Good chance for the wind to back off in the evenings for a glassoff at many locations before dark, especially the more sheltered/tucked away spots.
Friday 06/05 – 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high occ. 1.8m – Holding SW swell, while the old South swell fades out. West Blanca swell starts to fill in.
Saturday 06/06 – 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high occ. 1.8m – BIGGEST LATE – bigger SW sets slowly rising up through the day – SW swell increases further. Secondary W Blanca swell mixes in. Minor short period SW swell bumps up late in day. Conditions suspect.
