Costa Rica News – (Surf Report June 12th to June 13th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our beautiful pictures of girls in bikinis. This weekend expect fun waves on the Pacific side and Caribbean sides of Costa Rica on both days this weekend. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Friday drops to the waist-chest high zone at top spots. NOTE 1 – This swell is strongest for northern half of Costa, with partial shadowing by the Galapagos on the southern half. NOTE 2 – Modest shorter period westerly swell moves in by Friday to mix in (peaky at combo beachbreaks), due to cyclone off Southern Mexico.
WEATHER/WIND: Most areas will continue to see calm to very light/variable to locally light+ offshore wind for the early to mid mornings (depending on the specific spot). Then a moderate onshore seabreeze gradually develops over the late mornings and into each afternoon. Good chance for the wind to back off in the evenings for a glassoff for many locations before dark, especially the more sheltered/tucked away spots.
Friday 06/12 – 0.6-0.9m+ thigh to chest high occ. 1.2m – SW shifting SSW swell lingers. New shorter period westerly swell mixes in. Watching tropical cyclone off Southern Mexico. STAY POSTED.
Saturday 06/13 – 0.6-0.9m+ Knee to chest high – Most spots are waist high or less. Small mix of SW-South swells, along with shorter period westerly swell. Watching tropics. STAY POSTED.

Saturday 06/13 – 1.2-1.5m – Shoulder to head – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west winds, Increasing later and switching to the north-northeast.
