This weekend has some great waves with a swell hitting the Pacific side of Coast Rica and the Caribbean side of Costa Rica from July 5th to July 6th. FRIDAY: Building SW-SSW swell for head high to overhead surf at well exposed breaks, better sets at top spots, showing largest late. Bigger SW-SSW swell rises going into the weekend.
WEATHER/WIND: Look for light/variable wind for the early mornings, with a moderate onshore WSW seabreeze developing over the mid to late mornings and into each afternoon. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 07/05 – 1.5-2.1m – head high to 2 ft overhead occ. 2.4m- BIGGEST LATE with larger sets for standouts; New/solid long period SW-SSW swell steadily building in
Saturday 07/o6– 1.8-2.4m+ – head high + to 3 ft overhead occ. 3.1m – SW-SSW swell peaks with larger sets
