This weekend has some great waves with a swell hitting the Pacific side of Coast Rica and the Caribbean side of Costa Rica from July 19th to July 20th. FRIDAY: SSW swell peaks for shoulder high to a foot+ overhead waves. Plus sets at top spots.
WEATHER/WIND: Look for light/variable to light onshore wind for the early mornings, with a moderate onshore SW/WSW seabreeze developing over the mid to late mornings and into each afternoon. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 07/26 – 1.2-1.8m – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead – S-SW swell mix peaks
Saturday 7/27– 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high – Easing S-SW swell

Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the next few days. Light east winds with a slight chop, Increasing later. Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling slightly during the early part of next week. Light west-southwest winds later and switching to the north-northeast.
Friday 07/26 – 2.1-2.4m – Head high to 1m overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable north winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the northeast.
