This weekend has some great waves with a swell hitting the Pacific side of Coast Rica and the Caribbean side of Costa Rica from July 19th to July 20th. FRIDAY: SW swell peaks with overhead to several feet+ overhead waves for exposures, as top breaks see more size on sets.
WEATHER/WIND: Look for light/variable wind for the early mornings, with a moderate onshore SW/WSW seabreeze developing over the mid to late mornings and into each afternoon. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 07/19 – 1.8-2.4m+ – head high + to 3 ft overhead – Long period SW swell continues building; better sets at standouts
Saturday 07/20– 1.5-2.4m – head high to 3 ft overhead – SW swell continues; plus sets for top breaks
