Costa Rica News – (Surf Report January 30th and January 31st) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our beautiful pictures of girls in bikinis. This weekend have fun waves on the Pacific side but on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica has some overhead sets rolling in if you want some big waves. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Small to locally fun size SSW swell continues with knee-chest high zone surf for exposed spots. Standouts see occasional plus sets to shoulder. Small NW swell gets into select exposures in the region.
WEATHER/WIND: Variable to locally light offshore wind for the early to mid mornings for most areas, before a light+ onshore sea-breeze gradually develops into each afternoon. Most of the region will see partly cloudy/sunny skies each day. However, there is still a chance for occasional passing thunderstorms/showers.
Friday 01/30 – 0.6-0.9m – thigh to waist high occ. 1.2m – SSW swell continues.
Saturday 01/31 – 0.6-0.9m – thigh to waist high occ. 1.2m – SSW swell continues.

Moderate short period wind waves from the northeast falling slightly during the next few days. Windy conditions with choppy seas. Winds from the north-northeast, winds dropping rapidly later. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast rising slightly later in the early part of next week. Light northeast winds with a slight chop.
Friday 01/30 – 1.5-1.8m – Head high to 0.3m overhead – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light east-northeast winds and switching to the north-northeast.
Saturday 01/31 – 1.5-1.8m – Head high to 0.3m overhead – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light northwest winds all day and switching to the northeast.
