Costa Rica News – (Surf Report February 21st and February 22nd) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and add in some pictures of beautiful surf girls in bikinis. This weekend is pretty decent on Pacific side but on the Caribbean side it is pumping with some double over head waves in some sets. There are always great waves to be caught on both coasts of Costa Rica even on small to medium days. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: New SSW swell arrives with chest-head surf for well exposed spots with bigger sets possible for the standout breaks.
WEATHER/WIND: For most areas, look for mainly calm to light/variable to locally light offshore wind for the early mornings, before a moderate WSW-SW’erly seabreeze gradually develops over the mid to late morning hours and into each afternoon. Possible evening glassoff for some areas before dark. Skies will be partly cloudy/sunny for most locations as well. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 02/21 – 0.9-1.2m – waist to chest high occ. 1.5m – SSW swell builds in further; Standouts possible few bigger peaks
Saturday 02/22– 0.9-1.2m+ – waist to shoulder high occ. 1.5m – SSW swell holding for the day

Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling later in the early part of next week. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop, winds dropping rapidly later.
Friday 02/21 – 1.8-2.1m – Shoulder high to 0.5m overhead – Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west-southwest winds, Increasing later and switching to the northeast.
Saturday 02/22 – 2.4-2.8m – 1m overhead to double overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable east-southeast winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the east-northeast.
