North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: SW swell fills in further, new SSW swell starts to show, for chest-head+ high surf for exposed areas, along with some better sets.
WEATHER/WIND: For most areas, expect calm to light/variable to locally light offshore wind in the early mornings, with an onshore SW-WSW seabreeze gradually developing over the mid to late morning hours and becoming moderate into the afternoons. Skies will be partly cloudy/sunny for most locations as well. NOTE – Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 12/13 – 0.9-1.5m – waist to head high occ. 1.8m – SW swell fills in further; new, long period forerunners of new SSW swell showing late in the day
Saturday 12/14– 1.2-1.8m – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead – SSW swell fills in
