North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Old SSW-S swell fades, new SW swell shows in the afternoon, for knee-chest high surf, largest late.
WEATHER/WIND: Most areas will see light/variable to light offshore wind for the early mornings, before a moderate onshore SW seabreeze gradually develops over the mid to late morning hours and into each afternoon. NOTE – Good chance for the wind to back off into the evenings for a glass off for some locations before dark, especially the more sheltered/tucked away spots. NOTE – Passing showers or thunderstorms due to temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.
Friday 08/01 – 0.6-0.9m+ – Knee to chest high – New SW swell moves in
Saturday 08/02 – 0.9-1.2m – waist to chest high – More SW swell
