Costa Rica News – Robots are taking over the Pedregal Event Center this Saturday, August 5. Robot Day is a free event that will go from 9 am to 6 pm and be tons of fun for the whole family.
It’s an initiative of the Costa Rica Foundation for Innovation.
Attendees will be able to assemble robots and compete them on a racetrack. The devices for sale can be assembled any number of ways. The kit costs $68.
Attendees can participate in a raffle to win a trip to the Space Camp & Rocket Center.
There are activities planned to target all household members and robotics fans. There will be courses, trainings on technology topics and demonstrations of artificial intelligence.
One of the attractions is a robot as tall as a 7 year old. There will also be robot assembly workshops for children aged 10 and up. They will take place at 10, 12, 2, and 4.
The goal of the event is to unveil new methodologies to learn through technology and robotics. It is a new way to solve challenges.
