Costa Rica Surfing – Anthony Fillingim gave Dani Carvajal, Real Madrid defender, surf lessons.
He was in the country with his girlfriend last month and decided to take advantage of surf lessons in Santa Teresa. His girlfriend also participated in the lessons.
They also enjoyed several tourist attractions before leaving the country.
Anthony Fillingim is on the national team and was the champion in Nicaragua and at the National Surfing Circuit 2016.
Those credentials make him a great teacher. In fact, the Costa Rican Tourism Institute recommended him as one of the very best instructors in the country.
The Costa Rican surfer and instructor shared his experience teaching Dani on Facebook.
He wrote, “Not long ago I had the opportunity to teach one of the best Real Madrid players Dani Carvajal and his girlfriend.”
