Costa Rica Entertainment News – For any contemporary dance group out there, if you are interested in performing at the National Dance Festival you can approach the Melico Salazar Theater.
The event will be from August 3-12.
Auditions can be presented between May 18-22. Each group must present a repertoire of at least four presentations.
They must be works which have not participated in the last three editions of the festival.
Each choreography is given a maximum of 25 minutes. Further rules for participation can be viewed on the theater’s website or at the theater Monday through Friday from 8-4.
You can submit a proposal to gain an audition by calling 2295-6002 or emailing [email protected].
Awards will be given out for categories such as acting, directing, design, dance and choreography.
