Costa Rica News – Purdy Motor Group is to invest $11 million in an operational infrastructure in Costa Rica this year as it expands its headquarters in Uruca and Curridabat.
It will also build two new branches, in San Carlos and Escazu.
Jesus Castro, the corporate CEO explained that this growth comes as operations in Mexico close, after a decade in operation. The ultimate goal is to strengthen its US operations.
In Costa Rica in 2015 Prudy Motor sold 10,925 new vehicles. 78% of them were the Toyota brand. It plans to open the third Toyota City behind the main building in the Uruca campus.
Offices to be added will include new administrative areas, a cafeteria for employees and a body and paint workshop.
The new branch in San Carlos will include restaurants and shops.
