Costa Rica Entertainment – Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters broke the record of tickets sold on the first day of presale, and by a landslide. The record was 13,000 for Metallica until Monday, when Pink Floyd sold 20,000.
There are only tickets left in three sections, as six sections were sold out. The most expensive tickets sold out first.
This will be his first concert in Central America and it will take place on November 24th at the National Stadium. The announcement of the visit caused excitement but no one knew the tickets would fly like this. And it was pre-sale only for Amex cardholders.
The rush for tickets actually caused the eticket site to collapse for a time. The company apologised, attributed it to “an intense presale that exceeded our expectations,” and promised to strengthen the site.
