Costa Rica News – Two hotels opened up on the Pacific coast, totaling a $180 million investment in Costa Rica. One is Croc’s Hotel and Casino, in Jaco, and the other is Dreams Las Mareas, in Guanacaste.
Three other large complexes are under construction in Costa Rica- in Guanacaste, Heredia and Puntarenas.
Seven hotels will open too. In 2015 we are seeing 12 new developments, which will offer an additional 1,791 rooms and 2,564 jobs to the country.
Croc’s has 152 rooms and 44 private condominiums, a casino, three restaurants, five stores, a convention center, a nightclub, spa, gym and salon.
They are generating over 350 jobs and paying the municipality quite a bit in taxes.
Dreams Las Mareas offers 447 luxurious rooms with views of the jungle or ocean. There are eight restaurants, five bars and tons of activities and tours in the area.
They own the largest pool in Guanacaste, with 4,000 square meters. They employ 600 people.
