Costa Rica News – Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Organization has requested that Nicaraguan authorities send fingerprints, hair and blood samples, and clothes from Adrián Salmerón Silva.
Mr. Silva is a suspect in the massacre of five members of a family in Matapalo, Guanacaste.
The Judicial Police need to compare certain elements from the samples with those found and collected at the crime scene.
Nicaragua is refusing to extradite the man to Costa Rica for a trial so Costa Rica has no choice but to forward to Nicaragua the research details that link the subject with the murders.
The killings were of his alleged mistress, Yeimmy Jessica Durán Guerra, her husband, Dirk Beauchamp, and their three children, ages 6, 8, and 12.
The charges include qualified homicide and attempted qualified homicide.
