Costa Rica News – Apps for errands are popping up in Costa Rica. Go Pato, Glovo and Hugo are some of the platforms for “emergency” purchases and delivery services with quite a range of options.
Someone might use one of these apps if at a party they run out of ice or drinks or if they want a late night snack. Others even order condoms and sex toys. Other possibilities include personal hygiene products, medications, and clothing.
The pets in the family can benefit too. One could order pet food or even a ride for their pet to go to a veterinarian appointment.
The newest of these apps is Hugo, which launches in the country on November 22nd. It already operates in other countries. 60 motorcyclists have been approved on the platform for Costa Rica as have 130 stores in San Jose. Soon it will also be available in Cartago and Heredia.
