Natalia Carvajal came close to the crown of Miss Universe. She brought Costa Rica to center stage in this prestigious pageant. Her intention was to make top 10 and she made it a dream come true.
Her simplicity, way of speaking directly, and of course, her beautiful curves, brought her very close to the crown. She was successful both in the semifinals and the preliminary night.
She modeled a dress suit, blue with transparent parts, glitter and feathers. Her neck and shoulders were exposed. She was not named when it got down to the top 5 but she did go to celebrate with all those in the top 20.
She made top 10 in Bangkok out of the ninety-four participants from all over the world. She used the platform to explain that Costa Rica is a place that taught her how to find happiness in nature and the power of love.
