A mother and accounting assistant now has a new title to add to her positions, Lady Costa Rica 2016.
Mrs. Maureen Bozar, from Curridabat, was crowned the winner in the very elegant awards ceremony.
She is a 33 year old mother of two kids. She posed for pictures along with the eleven contestants on Saturday night. The final gala was helped at the Croc’s Casino Resort in Jaco.
The contest donated proceeds to a cause called the Pro Foundation Palliative Care Unit. Since 2016, this organization has served children and youth with terminal illnesses. Boza said hearing about that cause was her final push to decide to compete.
Her friends encouraged her, saying that she was very charismatic and had all the qualities needed to win. All of those who competed were professionals, housewives, mothers and/or wives.
The parade showed her inner and outer beauty. Boza thanks her husband and children for support. She will now go on to represent Costa Rica in the Mrs. World international competition in South Korea.
