Costa Rica Entertainment – “Mr. Massagy” is the title of a new Costa Rican game production where players will have to use their charm to conquer a couple. This concludes the third game of Green Lava Studios that will go on sale early next year.
The game will be available for the Steam computer gaming platform and for the PlayStation 4 virtual store, which is the most popular gaming platform of the present generation reaching more than 40 million copies sold around the world.
Green Lava Studios director, Eduardo Ramírez pointed out that this is a good opportunity to make their work known to the rest of the world. He adds, “we have tried to make video games with original game play and with enveloping stories.”
According to Ramirez, Mr. Massagy resembles the animated version of Sailor Moon of the 90’s due to the oriental designs of the different levels and characters. The game will also include a table of positions to generate competition among users. The price has yet to be confirmed.
The Costa Ricans debuted in the virtual stores of PlayStation 4 in September of 2014 with the launch of Fenix Fury.
Because of its crazy premises and game play that literally breaks the mold, the studio has become well known in the independent scene of video game development. The first Green Lava title achieved international popularity because of its high levels of difficulty, a feature that attracted hundreds of YouTubers and opinion leaders.
One of these personalities was the former editor of the international media IGN, Greg Miller, who cataloged Fenix Fury as an experience suitable only for the most experienced players.
Green Lava Studios released this November My Name is May to Sony’s digital console store after its success on Steam by selling more than 45,000 units since its release in February of this year. The video game is sold in stores for $ 1 and consists of simply opening a vase of mayonnaise.
