Costa Rica News – (Surf Report September 26th and September 27th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our new Model of the Week. The Pacific side has some fun size waves rolling in this weekend but the Carribbean side is a bit small, so grab your board and head to the Pacific coast. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Friday is a little bigger with shoulder-head high+ surf and some overhead+ waves at standouts. Fun size South swell for this weekend. Solid SW swell due for early October.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable East to SE wind in the mornings will give way to moderate South winds each afternoon. Keep in mind that local storm activity can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions, as well as roads conditions (especially dirt roads) due to rainfall/flooding.
Friday 09/26– 1.2-1.8m – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead occ. 2.1m – Peaking South swell; small tropical swell
Saturday 09/27 – 1.2-1.8m – shoulder high to 1 ft overhead occ. 1.8m – South swell holds; small tropical swell

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling slightly during the next few days. Light and variable north-northeast winds with smooth seas until Saturday. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light and variable west winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the east.
Friday 09/26 – 0.3-0.6m – Ankle to knee – Very Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west-northwest winds, Increasing later and switching to the northeast.
Saturday 09/27 – 0.3-0.6m – Ankle to knee – Very Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west winds all day and switching to the north-northeast.
