Costa Rica News – (Surf Report October 3rd and October 4th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our new Model of the Week. Are you ready fro some big waves? The Pacific side and the Caribbean side have overhead sets rolling in this weekend. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Solid SW swell tops out in the overhead to double overhead zone at exposures, better sets at best breaks.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable to locally light onshore wind in the mornings will give way to a light to moderate onshore wind each afternoon. Keep in mind that local storm activity can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions, as well as roads conditions (especially dirt roads) due to rainfall/flooding.
Friday 10/03– 1.8-3.1m+ head high + to double overhead occ. 3.7m – SW swell tops out
Saturday 10/04 – 1.8-3.1m+ head high + to double overhead occ. 3.7m – SW swell holds

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast rising later in the next few days. Light and variable north-northeast winds with smooth seas, Increasing later. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling slightly during the early part of next week. Light and variable north winds, Increasing later and switching to the northeast.
Friday 10/03 – 1.5-1.8m – Head high to 0.3m overhead – Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable south-southeast winds, Increasing later and switching to the north-northeast.
Saturday 10/04 – 1.8-2.1m – Shoulder high to 0.5m overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable north-northwest winds, increasing rapidly later and switching to the northeast.
