North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Modest new SW Southern Hemi swell prevails through the end of the week, as shorter-period SW/WSW windswell mix drops out. Exposed breaks are in the waist-chest high zone, with some larger sets for standouts. Shape is jumbled/mixed up at times and favors the beach breaks.
WEATHER/WIND: Light NW wind early Thursday gives way to rising Westerly flow through the day. Morning winds are light to moderate NW on Friday, picking up and trending more Westerly through the day. Keep in mind that local storm activity can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions, as well as roads conditions (especially dirt roads) due to rainfall/flooding.
Friday 10/17– 0.6-1.2m – knee to shoulder high – Minimal SSW swell; mediocre conditions
Saturday 10/18 – 0.9-1.2m – waist to chest high – Modest SSW swell; conditions looking a little better
